Misato Kawasaki is a former university student and co-planner of “26-Time Marriage Plan,” a global wedding journey to protest the lack of equal marriage rights in Japan. Through raised support by crowdfunding, Kawasaki and her partner proposed to take wedding photos in 26 different countries where same-sex marriage is legal.
