Rino Kodama recently graduated from UCLA with a BA in Fine Arts and a minor in Asian American Studies. Utilizing a variety of practices including clay, drawing, archiving, dance, and performance art, their work explores notions of gender, healing, and transformation. They are currently involved in an artist collective comprised of organizers and participants from Vigilant Love, a larger grassroots organization which focuses on advocacy and activism against Islamophobic policies, as well as cross-cultural solidarity between the Muslim American and Japanese American communities.
