T. Takemoto is a scholar, writer, performance artist, video artist, educator, and dean of the Humanities and Sciences division at California College of the Arts. Their research and work bring forward stories at intersections of race, ethnicity, history, and queer identity. They are well known for their recent work that inspects and speculates queer narratives in the setting of Japanese American incarceration as a result of World War II.
